LUCENA CITY — A fire of still unknown origin razed 20 houses in Bacoor City in Cavite province on Saturday, Feb. 8, police said.
The Police Region 4A reported on Sunday, Feb. 9, that the blaze erupted at 5:15 a.m. in Barangay (village) Maliksi 2. Local firemen were able to put off the fire after 25 minutes.
Strikes were launched at 25 hotels in eight cities including Boston, San Francisco and Honolulu, as workers demand improved pay and a return to pre-Coronavirus staffing levels.
